| Jung Soo Kim, IES Since joining BPI, she has worked on a wide variety of lighting design projects including hotels, master plans, residences, convention centers, museums, parks, performing art centers, educational facilities, hospitals and exterior flood lighting of bridges and buildings. Her creativity and clear understanding of poetic use of light brings unique insight and creativity to her work. She has recognized and praised for working on a wide variety of prestigious projects with clients and architects from all over the world. She has been honored with many awards including the Lumen Award, the Lumen Citation, International Illumination Design Award of Merit, and the IALD Award. Ms. Kim is a part time faculty member of the Parsons School of Design in New York M. F. A. degree program since 1999, and is a member of the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America. Ms. Kim holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in architectural lighting design from Parsons in New York, a Master of Arts degree from New York University in New York and Bachelor and Master of Fine Arts degrees from Ewha Women’s University in Seoul. |
