Perry Ellis, Offices and Showroom Projects / Retail Design Architect: Rosenblum & Harb Location: New York, New York Owner: Perry Ellis International The Perry Ellis headquarters is located on Broadway in the Flatiron district, just outside the traditional boundaries of the fashion district of New York City. The headquarters were designed to serve as both offices and showroom. These two separate functions are symbolized by a clean diagonal wall which runs through the glass wall of the elevator lobby and back through the loft space. On the office side of the space, indirect light fixtures are hidden within the wall framework, providing a warm glow to the high ceilings. On the showroom side of the space, track lighting was integrated into the shallow vaults of the high ceiling, and color draws the eye to the rotating panels of the display wall.
